Choosing the right webhost is just as important as your websites content and design. I believe that Siteground is the best possible host for my (and your) Joomla website. Not only are their servers crazy fast, but so is the support. They also stay on the cutting edge of technology, being the leader and an example in webhost related things like caching. But what trumps all of those positives is that Siteground is run by a group of super-kind and passionate people. (source)
I can’t say enough good things about SiteGround. I highly recommend their GoGeek shared hosting platform if you are a developer on a budget but still want advanced features like staging, GitHub integration, and of course the SuperCacher. It’s all you need for an excellent price. (source)
Generally, all of my tickets have been answered within 5-10 minutes, which gives a good impression. However, I may note that I’ve used their tickets tens of times (16 to be exact) for numerous issues (half of them had to be fixed on root level), and a few of them have had issues acknowleding/addressing the issue in question, even though I’ve explained them in detail. I’ve received replies of “your SSL certificate is not broken” when the issue itself has been about “subdomain/vHost points to wrong part of the site”. These have been fixed in a hour (or less) when escalated to the supervisor, who seems to have a great idea of what the problem is. So, most of the support staff seem to be listening and helpful, but others don’t seem to be so keen. (source)
Since I began using SiteGround for a new project a few months back, I’ve been blown away by their technical chops and their stellar customer service. I’ve yet to have an issue that wasn’t self inflicted, and I’ve since moved over a few larger client sites that needed a better level of service. There have been no complaints and numerous commendations. Simply put, SiteGround is doing it right when so many are dropping the ball. (source)
The next smart decision we made was switching our hosting to SiteGround. Our SiteGround plan is shared hosting, but it’s a managed WordPress hosting plan (GoGeek) that is optimized for WordPress.
SiteGround offers first-class security, customer service and their own caching system, WordPress SuperCacher Dynamic caching based on Varnish. Just this switch alone would greatly benefit your website’s performance. (source)
SiteGround is the only host I’ve found so far that offers actual power and professional support to their clients. The support told me that ‘speed is their middle name’, and I can only approve that. They actually crafted their whole system and plugins, and managed to make even the heaviest Magento installations lightning fast. (source)
I was impressed with how SiteGround offer daily backups, their large tutorial section, security features, speed enhancements, and of course, their 24 hour WordPress support. They offer a great package for WordPress users. (source)

If you are not the typical website owner, then SiteGround may the perfect hosting solution for you. This company has created unique solutions to common security, speed and support issues in order to provide a better experience for each and every customer. They go beyond the norm and deliver the extraordinary, and all for prices starting at only $3.95 per month.
Consider what you get when you sign up for hosting with SiteGround. For one, this company is headed up by three Russian IT experts who started the SiteGround web hosting service in 2004. Since that time, they have grown exponentially and now have offices and datacenters located around the world in order to provide great service and speed to customers who live just about anywhere.
Now, let’s see what you get in the way of features from a standard web hosting plan. The cheapest plan, StartUp (for $3.95 per month), allows the user only a single website and bandwidth limited to roughly 10,000 visits monthly. This includes 10GB of space. If you need more than this, the next plan in line, the GrowBig permits multiple websites with 20GB of space and about 25,000 visits per month in terms of bandwidth. Lastly, the GoGeek plan costs $14.95 monthly but with this plan, you get 30GB of space and bandwidth suitable for 100,000 visits each month.
All of the plans include a free domain name, unlimited data transfer, email accounts and MySQL databases, Cloudflare CDN, cPanel management and SSH access. The two top tier plans also include priority technical support, an SSL certificate free for the first year, superior speed with SuperCacher technology and access to a month’s worth of backup copies. With the GoGeek plan, you also get space on a server with advanced hardware and fewer accounts, as well as PCI compliance for free and preinstalled Git and Staging. For most website owners, that’s overkill, but if you know what all those terms mean, then a GoGeek plan from SiteGround is ideal. There are also Cloud Hosting and Dedicated Server plans available.
What about value? A nice feature of SiteGround’s hosting plans is that the monthly cost for your initial term is the same for any length of time – from one year to three years. You can also try the service for a month for that same price of $3.95 just to see if you like it. If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days, you are entitled to a refund of hosting fees. At checkout, look for add-ons automatically included in the purchase price which will bring your total higher than expected, such as premium support, backup service and HackAlert monitoring.
You might wonder how well SiteGround supports their growing customer base. Every customer has access to 24/7 technical support and is guaranteed 99.9 percent uptime for their website(s). But beyond these basics, customer support reps have a reputation for being extremely helpful and going above and beyond the call of duty to help their clients. That’s a nice, personal touch you are unlikely to find at most hosting companies.
The only negatives we could find with SiteGround are the fact that they put such low limits on the amount of bandwidth and space provided for their shared hosting accounts. Many other web hosting companies offer “unlimited” plans that really do have limits, but still provide lots more bang for your buck.
SiteGround is a highly scalable web hosting service that uses high tech solutions combined with personalized support – a great combination, particularly for commercial concerns.
If you opt for a Cloud Hosting plan from SiteGround, it will include Linux containers and SSD disks to enhance speed, along with your choice of four different datacenters and CDN.
From there, you can move up to a GoGeek plan, which is hosted on servers with fewer users.
If that’s still not enough for your growing business, then a Cloud hosting plan, which can be configured with the resources you need, is a great option.
