Great customer service is always one of the most important indicators of a good product, and can be what helps a brand stand out from the bunch. Especially when it comes to tech services like web hosting.
We’re happy to say that our favorite web hosting platform, Hostinger, is one of these brands.
We were quite impressed with their approach, and think that they’re worth exploring if you’re looking for a web host with solid customer service, amongst other merits.
Hostinger has an incredibly streamlined interface, and the same can be said for their customer success team. In fact, their customer support is a big part of what gives them their competitive edge.
They currently offer support in the following ways:
One of Hostinger’s most acclaimed services is their speedy and accommodating chat support.
All you need to do is log into your account, and click the little purple icon you see at the bottom right corner of any page.
After that, you’ll be directed to their Help Center, where you’ll find Hostinger’s Knowledge Base with tons of articles on the platform’s different features.
Hostinger recommends typing your query first on their search bar, as there’s a high chance that the answer you’re looking for is already on their Knowledge Base.
All their guides are pretty straightforward and easy to understand, but if you feel like you need a bit more help, then you have the option to connect with one of their live specialists.
One of Hostinger’s biggest promises is to be there for you 24/7/365. Just give them the specifics of your inquiry or issue and they’ll look into it right away.
Alternatively, you can also choose to reach out via email. You’ll be assigned a ticket and the customer success team will get back to you within 1 business day.
But if you don’t have an account yet, you can contact them via one of the supplied email addresses, depending on the nature of your inquiry.
And as if Hostinger’s Knowledge Base wasn’t impressive enough, the platform also gives users access to tons of helpful tutorials on how to set up your own website, all the best practices to increase web traffic, and the list goes on!
What’s more, they also teach you other relevant skills like how to master popular apps like WordPress, and even offer exclusive webinars that you can register to. So even if you’re new to the world of web hosting, Hostinger makes it super easy for you to follow along.
Another thing that sets Hostinger apart from its competitors is that they also have local support teams in several countries. This enables customers to converse more comfortably in their mother tongue.

We also looked into some reviews of their customer service, and noticed that many people had great things to say about their reliability, especially during important processes like website migration.
We wouldn’t recommend anything that we personally wouldn’t use ourselves, so, we’ve also put their customer support to the test.

How quick exactly are their live specialists? Well, it would depend on the issue at hand, but Hostinger typically responds within a few minutes – which is really impressive considering that some web hosting platforms can take almost half an hour to reply.
Their responses are pretty thorough too, especially for the short wait time.
We also appreciated how easy they were to talk to, much like having a conversation with a friend. And, they also reply in GIFs!
Another thing we liked about their messaging interface is that you can send attachments straight from your device too, which will come in handy for more complex issues that require visual aid and other additional materials.
Hostinger also makes it easier for users in case they run into other technical issues right after closing the live chat. All you need to do is look for this special header right at the bottom of their Help Center page, which will allow you to reconnect with your live specialist as well as go back to your old conversations with other live specialists – neat, right?
With regards to their ticketing system, well, we never got to submit a ticket since all our websites were running without a hitch (that, and chat is just so much quicker, tbh).
Though one thing that we found lacking in Hostinger’s customer service would be that they don’t offer phone support. While it’s not a dealbreaker for us, we just think that it’s a bit of a shame, as there are still some clients who may prefer discussing an issue over the phone vs. online.
Phone support is especially important when it comes to sharing sensitive information such as account details, as people tend to be more comfortable speaking with a representative on call rather than simply typing their personal info on chat. So while Hostinger’s current customer service is already very helpful and user-friendly, it could still be improved with the addition of phone support, since specialists will be able to demonstrate more empathy and establish more trust when speaking compared to responding via message.
